The Memory Stick PRO format was designed to realize continuous real-time recording of high capacity high-resolution moving images. In addition to its theoretical maximum transfer speed of 160Mbps, a main advantage of the Memory Stick PRO format is its minimum write speed of 15Mbps as a format standard, which will enable continuous real-time recording of high-resolution moving images. Furthermore, the minimum write speed of 15Mbps will make it possible to design more reliable moving image recording devices capable of preventing data loss in the event of sudden power loss or accidental removal of the media during file recording.The new format includes the MagicGate copyright protection technology as a standard feature providing secure protection for commercial and copyrighted content. By fully utilizing an embedded intelligent controller unit, the Memory Stick PRO format will also enable prevention of third-party access to personal data. Tentatively named "Access Control Function", the new protection technology will form the base of a high-level security system for Memory Stick networking features. As an advanced new generation media format, the Memory Stick PRO offers future expandability allowing it to evolve to bring new, exciting applications and benefits to its users.

I used the sony 4 GB memory pro duo on vacation. Over 5000 pictures on my camera.
I bought this item for a sony camera i also bought, but it happened that it didn't work. The camera uses another kind of memory, so i waste my money.
Memory keeps getting smaller.Perfect storage device for new Sony digital camera - yields more than 1,000 high resolution large [8"x10" equivalent size] photographs.
The Fake worked fine until i started to put large amounts of data on it in perticular video's for playback on my PSP. it turned out to be a good fake. I bought a 4GB ProDuo here off amazon. The card then corrupted every file that was put on.As for the store bought RETAIL version i am quite happy with it. at least for a while. It was very difficult to tell that i had purchased a fake even to the point of compairing it to a store purchased RETAIL version. it works fine even though it is a little slower than the 32MB one that i have. It also works well as a Pandora's Memory Stick.
THE MEMORY STICK I GOT WAS FAKE AND IT DOESN'T WORK WITH THE PSP.BE CAREFULL WHERE YOU GET THE PRODUCT AN THE MONEY YOU PAY FOR THEM.
